Marketplace

What is Marketplace?

Marketplace is a platform for buying or selling registered domains. Buyers can bid or buy out a PH domain. Sellers list domains and post their asking price. When a buyout happens or a bid is accepted, the transaction and transfer are processed automatically.

Buy or Bid on a PH Domain

Do you want to own a PH Domain that’s in the Marketplace? You’ve got two ways to do that:

Place a Bid
  • Place a bid on a PH domain to get it at a lower price. Your bid will be valid for 30 days.
  • The bid is still subject to the seller’s acceptance, and you may want to update your bid if you’ve got competition for the same domain.
  • After a bid is accepted, take note that transaction is non-refundable, and transfer is irreversible.
  • When the domain is transferred to your account, you should change the registrant information to your own name, organization, address and contact information.
Buy the Domain
  • Buy it out to make it yours immediately. You don’t have to compete or wait it out.
  • Take note that buyout is non-refundable, and transfer is irreversible.
  • When the domain is transferred to your account, you should change the registrant information to your own name, organization, address and contact information.

Sell a PH Domain

If you’re looking to make profit by selling relevant domains, then you’ve come to the right platform. Since domains are unique, there are people who want to own a registered domain, especially if the name matches their business name.

Here’s how you could start:

  • Do you know an unregistered domain name that has potential? Register it and list it for sale in the Domain Manager. Make sure it's a name that you can legally own. Infringing on trademarks can and would lead you to losing your domain investment when the trademark owner files a UDRP (Unique Domain name Dispute Resolution Policy) model complaint.
  • Set an asking price for the domain you’re selling. Remember, once listed for sale in the marketplace, anyone can immediately buy it out at your asking price. All sales in the marketplace are final and binding. Set your asking price to a value that you're willing to receive to let go of your domain.
  • Buyers can also place a bid on your domain anytime. If you get a bid that you are happy with, you can sell your domain by simply accepting the bid. The transaction will be processed immediately. Your seller payment account will be credited within 3 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect after I place a bid?

- You’ll have to wait until the Seller accepts your bid. If your bid is about to expire, you can refresh its validity for another 30 days. You could also consider placing a higher bid on the domain to increase chances of your bid being accepted.

Will my card be charged after placing a bid?

- No. Your card will be charged only after the seller accepts your Bid. If you bid to a domain, your bid will appear as Authorization, the amount will be deducted from your credit limit only. Your card won't be charged unless the seller accepts the bid.
